$500 Kit Discount
Eligibility: Cosmetology students starting class on January 9, 2012 must have zero absences during the first 350 hours of the course to qualify for this discount. Offer is not valid for transfer or re-enrolling students.
How the discount is applied: The discount will be applied to the student’s account at the completion of 350 hours.
$1500 Academic and Attendance Scholarship
Eligibility: Cosmetology students starting class on January 9, 2012 who achieve a 90% academic average and a 90% attendance average in a payment period are eligible to earn this scholarship.
How the scholarship is applied: Students can earn up to $1500.00 in total tuition credit throughout their program. The scholarship is credited to the student’s account in three $500.00 increments. Students meeting the academic and attendance requirements receive the credit at the next billing period. Billing periods (determination points) are 450 hours, 900 hours and 1200 hours.
Limitations and Exclusions:
- If you fall below the 90% academic average and/or the 90% attendance average at the end of the determination points, you will not qualify for the tuition credit for the next billing period. If all criteria are met at the next determination point you may continue to receive tuition credit(s) as applicable. If you fall below the Satisfactory Academic Progress benchmarks of 70% academic average and/or 67% attendance average you will be ineligible to receive the tuition credit for the remainder of the program.
- This scholarship benchmark is separate and not related to the Satisfactory Academic Policy (SAP) which can be found in the School of Designing Arts School Catalog and Student Handbook.
- Receiving a tuition credit does not necessarily mean that you will receive a refund.
- Students who take a leave of absence, or withdraw and subsequently reenroll will be disqualified.
